Career talks and workshops

  • Our career preparation talks and workshops are aimed at improving your employability upon graduation.  Career talk & workshop host on variety of topics facilitated by our team as well as member from external organisation.

 

Industry Engagement

  • Industrial insight refer to career talk given by guest speakers from various employment fields and government departments to create awareness to students pertaining to career choice in a particular industry.  These sessions will help you to make decision on your career planning by getting a wide range of career information for your career choices, assisting you to understand the practice, sub-culture and expectations of being an executive in different professions as well as information on job application of a specific organization.  With the information from these talks from different industry and organization, you can identify potential career interests for consideration and plan for a better future.

 

  • Industrial visits provides an insight into the real working environment of the industry. It provides you exposure to current work practices. Industrial visit is also an excellent platform to build a good network with potential hiring employers.

 

  • Campus recruitment drive – In helping you get hired, we want to connect you with potential employers’ right here on campus.  Campus Recruitment provides employers with the opportunity to hold career talk and conduct interviews for recruitment purposes on campus. Campus recruitment talks are held by corporations so as to familiarize you with the procedures in their job application, recruitment process, company and job information.

Curtin Malaysia Careers Fair

 

The Curtin Malaysia Careers Fair is an annual event organised by the Career & Alumni Services. The participating companies are recruiting across a large cross-section of industries, including but not limited to engineering, construction, oil and gas, timber, financial services, retail, tourism and education.

Our goal for this annual event is to give you a head start in your career and to provide you with an effective platform to network, seek information, find your passional and get hired by your chosen employer. This event is a wonderful opportunity to get insights into various industries that you might find useful in mapping your future career.
